Coworking +961

Coworking spaces are sparse, and only really established in western countries, yet a new work space has been developed in an old Ottoman mansion in the heart of Beirut, Lebanon. Entrepreneurs share the lovely gardens at Sursock Palace to conduct day-to-day business for their own endeavors.

Though the hustle and bustle of Beirut surrounds this palace, the tenants sharing the space aptly named Coworking +961, escape the outside world to concentrate on building up their businesses among like-minded workers with ground-breaking objectives.

Founded in June 2013 by Hala Fadel and Bader Entrepreneurs, Coworking +961 is an office environment for those distracted by working in their homes. The lush gardens, old world architecture, and green courtyards allow the workers to swap ideas or meet informally at the picnic tables.

When the workers need a break, they can enjoy the ping pong table for a casual game or sit outside and enjoy the gardens of the palace.

Entrepreneurs and freelancers are welcome to join this creative working space to expand their business ideas with like-minded individuals aimed at implementing their innovative projects or start-up businesses.
