Capitalizing on Sustainability

Siblings and ‘Triple Bottom Line’ Associates (3BL) co-founders Leena and Tariq Al Olaimy are making the “island with the golden smile”, smile even more proudly. Creating the first social impact and sustainability consultancy and think-do-tank in Bahrain in 2010 came at a much needed time to further multi-stakeholder sustainable and regenerative development in MENA.

The Bahrain Responsible Business Survey that they recently published proved that there is still a lot to accomplish, as executives don’t understand the social, environmental, and economic benefits and added value of a sustainable approach to doing business. The siblings managed to built a steady reputation at several events, with their most recent speaking engagement at Harvard’s HPAIR 2013 on biomimicry and entrepreneurship. They develop programs related to CSR, social entrepreneurship and sustainability, and have incubated notable initiatives such as the Leadership Bridge Program,, and Al Tamasuk.
