Promoting the Arabic Language

Since language lessons start in the uterus, its never too early to start exposing children to the Arabic language. Reading to them, and encouraging the habit, makes them learn to love the language and appreciate it sooner.

Buzoor was created in 2008 by out of the box thinker Zeyna Al Jabri to help make reading a culture and to address the lack of quality Arabic material in schools and bookstores in the UAE. She works with many schools to distribute quality material to students of all ages, and participates in various book fairs and exhibitions.

Her community site helps bring together authors and their audiences, and encourages communication and interaction through groups and blogs, allowing all those involved in Arabic for children to share their experiences and learn from others.

Buzoor’s online retail store, to include Arabic books, CDs, DVDs, and games, has not been launched yet. But do not despair, you can find some of their products available on Mumzworld
