In Egypt, Nawaya emphasizes sustainability beyond the basics. An a-political non-profit, the organization goes “to a place where the people, the ecosystems they live in and the lives they lead are truly sustainable.”
Among Nawaya’s objectives is to showcase eco-friendly rural development that will assist in sustainable agriculture, broaden opportunities for small-scale farming families, add to the skill sets of young farmers in sustainable agriculture and to make sustainable farming accessible to urban residents.
On October 21, Nawaya will host a workshop on “inclusive agribusiness“, offering opportunities to network and “create a platform for collaboration and experience exchange in formulating solutions towards more inclusive business models.”
