A Traveler Reacts to the Misrepresentation of Iran. And It Is Beautiful

“After beautiful experience I had there, I came back home with strong feelings that Iranian people have been treated unfairly. This video is my reaction to that feeling and my need to share at least visual part of my experience, in order to bring out some positive images of Iran,” says Milic Ojler, the author of this fascinating visual tour called “Memories of Iran”.

As Beirut‘s “Scenic World” plays on the background, the Youtuber shares snapshops of a trip around the country between September and October 2014. A tour where smooth domes frame carpet markets, and bustling school playgrounds interact with glimpses of ancient Persian heritage. This video is not a touristic vision of Iran; but a contemplation on the beauty behind misrepresentation.
