5 Global Opportunities You Should Apply for Before February is Over

As 2015 kicked off with some exciting global opportunities to intern, volunteer and begin you graduate career, here at BarakaBits we have selected 10 calls for applications from Opportunity Desk to apply for in February.

1. UNESCO Internship Opportunities for Young African Professionals 2015. The internships, to be held in South Africa and Benin, will take place from April to September. The call is open for all nationals from African countries under 30 years old, with English or French language skills.

2. TechWomen Program for Emerging Leaders 2015. Held in Washington, D.C., USA , the mentorship and exchange program is open for women in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and maths) from African, Central Asia and the Middle East. All costs are covered.

3. The World Bank Robert S. McNamara Fellowship Program offers up to $25,000 awards to PhD candidates from developing countries. Applicants should be enrolled in a PhD program, and under 35 years old.

4. OneBeat International Music Exchange Program 2015The an incubator for music-based social entrepreneurship where innovative musicians from around the world launch collaborative projects designed to make a positive impact on local and global communities.  It covers travels transportation, lodging and food.
