For the very first time in Africa and in the Arab World, Tunisia will host the Tunisian Balloons Festival at Sousse and Hammamet. The event, which will take place between March 16 and 23, will feature an impressive number of hot air balloons floating each morning above the city of Sousse, Tunisia, as well as Night Glow shows in the evening.
Teams from across the world, from Spain and Italy to Taiwan, Poland and Switzerland will be participating in the event, where hot-air balloons will be flying to a height of 10 meters. By the end of the event, the “Night Glow Final” will be held in Hammamet, with a balloon show and a party that promises to amaze, featuring top Tunisian DJs.
Organizers are expecting thousands of visitors participating in the festival’s first edition, which will be followed by yearly events every March to turn Tunisia the “African capital of the balloon.”
