the Little Engineer venture in Beirut

Rana El Chemaitelly Itani is an instructor in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the American University of Beirut. She is a mother of three and decided to launch the Little Engineer venture in Beirut, to protect her 3 kids and other kids, the future generation, from TV, Internet, and eGame addictions!

The Little Engineer ran as a six week summer program. Kids enrolled attended once a week, for 3 hours for six weeks, thanks to the parents’ who got involved in advancing their child’s education.

Their mission is to promote awareness of environmental technologies in their child, which motivated them in expanding their labs to include: Robotic Level 0, Robotic Level 1, Robotic Level 2 , Robotic Level 3, Kids and Teens Go Green (Energy Lab) and Creativity Lab, Pneumatics, Electro Mechanical Machines and More .
