Counseling that Makes you Shine

It’s time for a change in perception, to break from the traditions and cultures that make counseling a taboo. Ragy Khairy started Eshraq, a social business in the making, to do that and more.

A first of its kind in the region, this platform is meant “to make professional help accessible” to all that seek it but cannot receive it due to social, cultural, or financial reasons. Through online and offline counseling and coaching, tackling a variety of social and health related issues in full anonymity is finally attainable.

Individuals can connect to professional experts by viewing their online profiles and video introductions, access free public webinars and video interviews on social and health related advice, and sign up for one-on-one counseling sessions.

The idea behind the platform was nurtured at the 2012 Business Acumen 4 Good Competition, with a website launched a year later at the Social Enterprise Week.
