Creating a platform to support and promote professional, emerging local and regional musicians in Dubai has certainly been shaping the Middle East performing art sector, thanks to The Fridge – the city’s leading artist and entertainment booking agency.
Pioneering exciting opportunities for local, regional, and international talent, through The Fridge Concert Series, they were able to hold 200 performances in their two-story warehouse since their inception in 2007.
Regional stars such as the Lebanese Jazz Musicians Elie and Rony Afif, Emirati rapper Sain, Iraqi hip hop artist The Narcycist, and Jordanian/Spanish singer Farah Siraj were all given the opportunity to shine.
The Fridge Concert Series in its 14th season will be take place today, opening with a performance of Lebanese jazz pianist Tarek Yamani, and followed by the Arabic fusion oud player Kamal Musallam and his band on 4 November.
