“Our main goal is to make young people in the Arab world feel the pleasure of creativity in solving their problems, meaning thinking outside the box,” says Rami Issa, Tatweer’s co-founder. Personal skills, strategic solutions to work-study balance, and effective contributions to Syria: that is Tatweer Team’s mission.
An upcoming Human Resources Management training course in Lattakia this September will carry this out both by building participants’ self-confidence and enhancing their knowledge of business administration, marketing, and the basics of entering the labor market.
Because course fees pose an obstacle to many business novices, tuition is limited to the cost of pamphlets and meeting space. In the year and a half since its inception, Tatweer has run 15 courses on NLP, stress management, and the stock market, attended by over 250 people from various disciplines. The team also targets youth participants through social networks, and offers an online problem-solving course.
