Yarmouk Singing Troupe Brightens the Setting with Gaza-Inspired Tunes

Despite their own situation, the Yarmouk Youth Troupe has put their musical talents to good use. The group, founded by Ayham Ahmad, has been singing and creating music in support of their brethren in Palestine since their humble beginnings. Until now, the group is making inspiring music with a positive, supportive message. Comprised of a pianist and five singers, the troupe is not exactly what one might expect from war-torn Syria. The camp, which is located in southern Damascus, acts as the backdrop for the troupes musical stylings, as they play their piano and sing about Gaza in the rubble-ladden streets.
