Watch This Lebanese Pianist Wow Travelers at the Prague Airport

It was an ordinary frenetic day the Prague airport, when a spontaneous Lebanese pianist halted the passengers pace with an Arabic-fashioned Beethoven.

Maan Hamadeh, who had been travelling for 12 days without playing music, could not resist temptation when he spotted a piano as he was looking for the gate to board. “Like a baby who has found his mother after getting lost, I ran to it,” he told the Daily Star.

As passengers gathered bewildered around him, he improvised an Arabic-style variation of Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Fur Elise”, followed by Celine Dion’s Titanic theme song, “My Heart Will Go On.”

Some travelers began to clap, while others took out their cellphones and registered a video that has already garnered 900,000 views on Youtube. “I would love to see pianos in all public places, especially those where the waiting factor is present,” Hamadeh said.
