Better Business is a Jordanian consulting services company that specializes in training company workforces to international standards. Founded by Abeer Qumsieh in 2003, the organization provides a variety of different services, which include business consulting, company assessments, corporate cultures and workforce enhancement, team building, organizational development, business retreats and developing service culture. These services are aimed at improving a company’s customer and client care.

But what Better Business specifically excels at is adapting international standards of service excellence to Arabic business cultures. Qumsieh says this requires a deep understanding of the needs of the people, as their training, activities and development requirements differ. Their adaptive approach seems to have paid off, as Better Business now serves international giants like the Nuqul Group, Hikma Pharmaceuticals and Pepsico. “We are proud to say that our clients helped us grow and took us to the region,” Qumsieh said. The company now operates in countries all across the region, including Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Algeria. As for their future, Qumsieh is very hopeful. “We want to be positioned as THE source of talent development in the Arab world,” she said.
