This Restaurant is Taking Falafel Global

Just Falafel, a vegetarian restaurant specializing in, what else, falafel, plans on taking traditional Middle Eastern street food global by offering delicious varieties of falafel meals with different spices, flavors and tastes.

Just Falafel, which first opened in Abu Dhabi in 2007, now has more than 50 restaurants in over 13 countries. And the outlets aren’t all in the Middle East! In addition to regional locations like Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Oman, Just Falafel also has stores in Canada, America and Britain. And the restaurant chain is continuing to grow. In fact, Just Falafel opened its first outlet in Bangalore, India, on July 29.

It’s refreshing to see a restaurant from the Middle East achieving this level of success, especially since it serves healthy vegetarian dishes. The restaurant guarantees farm-assured locally-sourced ingredients, and even serves gluten intolerant consumers. In addition to their healthy campaign, the chain has a “To Feed the Hungry” mission, in which they contribute to the UN World Food Program every time they open a new restaurant. Just Falafel plans on expanding its presence to 18 countries and further opening 160 outlets in the United States and Canada.
