For Ibrahim Hamato, Impossible is Just a Word

Ibrahim Hamato is a table tennis professional like no other. Losing his arms at the age of ten in a tragic accident, Hamato started trying to play his favorite sport again three years after.

Struggling to hold the bat at the beginning of his return to the sport, the Egyptian miracle found the perfect technique: holding the paddle in his mouth. From there, he excelled to winning local and international competitions.

His dedication and love for the game soon earned him an invitation to the ZEN-Noh 2014 World Team Table Tennis Championships in Tokyo, Japan by the ITTF president Adham Sharara. As a guest of an honor, he had the chance to interact with the best players in the world and play against many table tennis legends, including former world champion Wang Hao and Vladimir Samsonov.

Hamato aspires to get better every day, practicing to reach the ultimate dream of winning the world championship for table tennis in his class.
