The Dahab 7 Waves Festival Brings Egypt’s Tourists From the Sea to the Top

Swimming competitions, camel races, marathons, free intro-dives, underwater treasure hunts, and explorations of the Bedouin culture will be some of the activities held at the Dahab 7 Waves Festival, an exciting event that will be held this January 25 in Dahab, in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula.

The festival, which will take place from January 25 until January 31, will also feature activities for children such as bike races and little Olympic Games, as well as wellness events such as dance, yoga, and healing.

Known as one of Egypt’s best-kept touristic secrets, Dahab is a small coastal town surrounded by the red mountains of Egypt’s Sinai peninsula, providing majestic scenery both on land and underwater. The town, bordering the Red Sea, is known as a haven for free diving, snorkeling, kite surfing, wind surfing, desert exploration and adventure safaris.
