Take this Simulated Walk Through Dubai’s Museum of the Future and Feel Like the Jetsons

Dubai’s Museum of the Future, set to be opened in 2017, revives the iconography of the Jetsons. 50 years after their creation, the animated series comes alive in a display of holograms, state-of-the-art robots, and 3D printed hallways that will populate the $136 million high-tech museum.

The design, which will celebrate the city’s achievement of hosting the 2020 World Expo, features a ring-shaped metallic facade with large-scale poetry carved into it, written by the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The complex will comprise innovation labs to develop ideas and systems for future cities, and It will offer courses in design and entrepreneurship, following a concept to serve as an innovation hub for scientific and technological discovery for entrepreneurs near Dubai’s downtown financial district.
