Following Your Passion Has Just Become Easier in Lebanon

Four Lebanese entrepreneurs, each successful in their own right in different careers, had a common ground: they all freelanced to pursue their true passion. Eventually they decided to start something on their own, and so they founded Feedeed in August 2014. “Having dealt with the hardships of freelancing and with concerns over rising unemployment in the region, the founding team saw a need for an online platform that supported such skills and talent,” states their website. Now Feedeed is a semi-finalist in the MIT Entrepreneurship Forum Pan – Arab Competition competing in the start-up track.

The platform provides an online medium through which skills and talent can be turned to viable business and thus empowering the local community. But this website is not just beneficial to freelancers. It makes recruitment easier for the companies/clients providing them with various services like branding, website development, mobile apps, etc. Their goal is simple enough, to transform every skill and talent into a viable business venture. And with the MIT competition looming ahead in April16, they just might do it. After all passion goes a long way.
