This Jordanian Fashion Illustrator is Creating Patterns from Daily Life

Shamekh Bluwi, Jordanian fashion illustrator, visual artist, and architect, has been creating gorgeous fashion illustrations for years. His work has been featured in myriad publications internationally and in the region, including well-known Jordanian lifestyle magazine VIVMAG. He has also created many life-like yet fantastical illustrations of modern style icons and runway looks.

Inspired by the patterns that can be found in daily life, in the architecture of Amman’s blocky buildings and curulean blue skies and Islamic tiling, Shamekh created a series of illustrations that use these daily scenes to create fabric and material.
