Female Entrepreneurs: Here’s an Opportunity for You

The Open Hands Initiative, a US based nonprofit organization, is entirely dedicated to improving intercultural understanding and fostering connections and experiences that center on shared values. Established in 2009 by Jay and Tracy Snyder, the organization seeks to foster connections with different people from different countries, building on the shared commonalities of all humanity.

Now, the organization is accepting applications for its Young Women Entrepreneurs Fellowship, which will take place October 15-25 in Amman, Jordan. This international fellowship program will unite 20 female founders (10 Americans, 10 Jordanians) for a mutually beneficial exchange in education, mentoring and cultural understanding. The fellowship is all expenses paid, and after the fellowship is completed, four grants of 25,000USD will be awarded to the four entrepreneurs whose business plans will create the most positive impact.

If you’re a Jordanian or American woman, a founder, co-founder or entrepreneur with an early-stage startup, you’re eligible to apply! Deadline for applications is July 15.

For more information: You can find the application and further information about the fellowship on the Open Hands official website.
