A Bit About The Bits

Finally it’s happening!

“The community is taking over our editorial content. And who better to start with than youth! This month, we are giving over our editor’s desk to a capable global young team interning with BarakaBits. With few exceptions, they are selecting, positing and managing BarakaBits. It’s a first step to turning the site over to the community in the Middle East. Join me in supporting Jana, Reeman, Ali, Ziad, Frida, Wedad and Dima by contributing articles and helping them reach a larger community globally.” -Rama Chakaki, Chief Optimist at BarakaBits

1) Ali Al-Harithy

The most fun and empowering conversations in my life were not the result of answers, but of questions. Drop by with questions and comments, and let’s have some fun discourse! I’ll be reporting from the US.

2) Dima Masri

I’m really excited to share what I love most about the Middle East: art, culture and inspiring stories. I will be reporting from Germany.

3) Frida Lundgren

I am excited to share my Swedish love for Middle Eastern cultures (FOOD!) with the Baraka Bits family! I’ll be reporting from Germany.

4) Jana Al-Mawed

Positivity runs in my blood *I’m not kidding, literally, my blood type is B+(Be positive)*. I’m looking forward to be a bit that’ll bring more baraka to such a dazzling website. I’ll be reporting from Lebanon.

5) Reeman Bustami

Curiosity-driven. I’m hoping to bring more cultural, creative, and of course, positive bits! I’ll be reporting from Qatar.

6) Wedad Anbtawi

I’m so happy to be a part of BarakaBits. I’ll be reporting from Lebanon.

7) Ziad Agha

I am so thrilled to be part of the BarakaBits family, working for such a great cause of spreading the Middle Eastern joy across the world. I’ll be reporting from Lebanon.

We’re looking forward to your comments and suggestions : )

Do you think we should do this more often and let the community/the bits take over? Let us know!
