A Wedding With A Different Taste

Sophocles says “To be doing good deeds is man’s glorious task”. Fethullah Üzümcüoğlu and Esra Pola have done the most marvellous good deed by feeding 4,000 Syrian Refugee on their wedding.

Do you want to have a spectacular wedding with a flavour of good deeds? Here are 3 ideas that would make your wedding a celebration with difference.

  1. Celebrate your wedding with the children at a Children’s Cancer Centre and have the guests donate money for the kids instead of getting you a wedding gift.
  2. Invest the money saved for the wedding in a project that targets educating unprivileged children. On the last day of the program, you can celebrate your wedding and both: the success of the kids and the program.
  3. We are all aware of the importance of the embroidery old women in camps do and the crafts and arts the handicapped do as well. So, instead of contacting a famous wedding hall designer, you can contact the handicapped or the organizers of the program that’s helping them so that you can fill the hall with the beautiful crafts the handicapped have done. Moreover, this for all the gorgeous brides out there, you can dress your bridesmaids with the fabulous embroidery done by old women in refugee camps, and I would highly recommend Palestinian Embroidery. That way you would help two great causes and add a different taste to your wedding.
