Yes, surprisingly the Arab World is indeed home to many wonderlands that are unmarred by war or even human touch for that matter. Wadi Al Hitan (Whale Valley), Egypt
Here, you enter a world of ancient fossils. The valley carries this name due to the valuable fossil remains of the earliest, and now extinct, suborder of whales, Archaeoceti. This site contains a very important unit of the world’s evolution as these fossils exhibit whales in their transition from land-based animals into marine animals, and it’s listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites!

Ourika River, Morocco
This magical area has been left untouched by man-made machines, making it one of the attractive places in the world. About 60 kilos away from the city of Marrakesh, the water of the river comes down from several different paths of the surrounding mountains, pouring into the river.

Al-Hijr (Madâin Sâlih), Saudi Arabia
This is the first World Heritage property to be inscribed in Saudi Arabia. Out of 111 monumental tombs, and water wells, it is the largest conserved site of the civilization of the Nabataeans south of Petra in Jordan. This site is also listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Mount Karthala, Comoros
If you have an itch for adventure, then head down here and climb to the top of the volcano, a height of 2,361 m (7,746 ft) above sea level. However, it is not a trip for the faint-hearted as the Karthala Volcano is very active!
The White Desert, Egypt
This desert, otherwise known as Farafra, is arguably the most distinctive desert in the world. It is home to a ton of wind-carved shapes in the form of giant mushrooms or pebbles.
