Climb of Hope at Mount Kilamjaro

A truly remarkable journey is about to take place on January 17, 2014 that will no doubt leave many of us inspired. For the first time ever, three Arab youths that were injured in conflict, having lost limbs and received treatment abroad through the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, will climb the highest mountain in Africa to raise awareness and support for children of Palestine and Syria.

Mohammed Jammous (15-year-old Syrian refugee), Mutasem Abu Karsh (16-year-old from Gaza), and Yasmeen Al Najjar (17-year-old from the Boreen village near Nablus) will be climbing with a team of volunteers in addition to Suzanne Al Houby, the founder of Rahhalah and first Arab woman to summit Everest and climb Kilimanjaro 6 times.

Watch these youths full of determination, courage, and strength make history together, and help in raising one million dollars to provide other innocent victims of war, poverty, and occupation treatment they desperately need.

Spread the hope by sponsoring their campaign!
