Uf Concepts, a new start-up that focuses on making businesses social-media savvy, is helping them with everything from marketing strategies, event management, promotional items, and website design to musical performances and gentle pranks.
These pranks aren’t crass or tasteless; they’re friendly and encourage social responsibility while also promoting random acts of kindness. Last Christmas, for example, a group of Uf members dressed up in Santa hats handed out gas vouchers to taxi drivers and passersby who were taken aback by the generosity, and very grateful.
Uf’s first prank surprised drivers stuck in one of Antelias Highway’s chronic traffic jams even more. Gathered around a roadside ditch, five Uf pranksters wearing bathing suits pretended to fish and relax as if they were at the beach, amusing the people who idled by them.
To showcase its pranks and their winning creativity, Uf has created its own YouTube channel, Uf Chou Laziz, or, “Oooh, how nice”, which has already garnered 38,000 views–with 22,000 on its latest video.
