Muna Al Gurg has done it all, truly deserving her 2010 Emirates Women’s Award for outstanding achievers – since outstanding is what she really is! This director of retail at her family business, the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG), also appears on the board of entrepreneurial, cultural and non-profit initiatives – including the HUB Dubai, Endeavor Global’s Middle East, ESAG Charity Foundation, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre.

She is also a mentor at the Dubai Start-up sessions, a judge at The Entrepreneur business reality show, an ambassador of the UAE’s Pink Caravan’s breast cancer awareness initiative, and last but not least, chairs the board of the Young Arab Leaders UAE (YAL-UAE).

“As the Chairperson of YAL, I feel privileged to work on the overall strategy of this brilliant organization and take it to a whole other level,” she shares. Al Gurg’s accomplishments and successes are an inspiration, a product of deep reflection, hard work, and focus on an “end goal despite the challenges along the way.”
