One of the most incredible things about Dubai is its Architecture. The city is known for its unique and outstanding architecture. Its architecture keeps changing and improving every day since new buildings keep getting launched every day. For instance, you can visit the rotating tower in Dubai. This tower features floors that rotate on their own accord. The movement allows its occupants to experience the incredible views of the sea, desert, and the city in one sweep. The tower is set to open during the Expo 2020 and it will feature a fluid external structure that keeps changing every hour.

Appreciate the culture

A trip to Dubai would not be complete if you didn’t get to explore and appreciate the city’s culture. Dubai boasts of a rich cultural heritage that features a combination of Bedouin, Islam, and Arab traditions. You can visit places like the Etihad and Dubai museums to get a quick lesson on the history of Dubai and its culture. The Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding is also an ideal place to visit if you are looking to appreciate Dubai’s culture.

Take advantage of the beaches

Dubai is home to numerous beaches which you can enjoy. The city features the best temperature for you to enjoy the beaches. For instance, you can enjoy a day at the Kite public beach where you can carry or rent an umbrella and towel and enjoy a calm and relaxing day. You can also visit the Jumeirah beach where you get to enjoy incredible views of the Burj Al Arab! You can always carry a camera with you to capture the moments and memories. There are several other public and private beaches you can explore in Dubai with incredible sand and seawater!

Enjoy the amazing food and spices

The city is known for its amazing food and spices. Dubai offers a wide range of budget-friendly eats and traditional cuisines that you can enjoy. You can start with local food places for some traditional tasty meals then proceed to international food chains and restaurants where you can enjoy international cuisines. Dubai is famous for its wide range of traditional and locally-sourced spices. You can experience the spices in the food and buy some so that you can use and explore when you are back home!

There is so much more to Dubai than its wealth and architecture! There are several distinct places that everyone from millennials to more elder travelers can enjoy. I was born in Palestine but raised with the fireflies in Georgia. My teenage years were spent being the Muslim nerd who was known as the bookworm of the school. That followed me back to Palestine, to develop into being the girl with the big vocabulary. I spent most of my high-school days cursing Newton for not eating that apple. My English Literature Bachelor's degree was only obtained because I'm a nerd for literature and my minor in Translation pretty much pays the bills, thank you Birzeit University.Creative writing is my passion and reading is my escape from reality into a world where everything is the way you imagine it to be.
