Developing a Culture of Cycling

Parents of this region often buy bicycles for their children as toys without seeing the health benefits they offer, a common perception that The Cycle Hub is working to change.

“Cycling is a low impact activity that is a sport, a leisure pastime and mode of transportation,” says Sam Sayadan of The Cycle Hub. “The children of tomorrow who are cycle friendly will design cities and lifestyles to fit around human powered transport,” Sayadan adds. The Cycle Hub is the ideal place to find quality bicycling products, services, knowledge and experiences, cycling programs and activities, a Paleolithic diet inspired bistro, and more.

Their upcoming November 8 ride in partnership with Dubai Sports City and Dubai Sports Council, called ‘The Great Pulse Ride – Off Road,’ is being set up for families and children to cycle in a safe and fun trail ride. In time, cycling in the region will hopefully become “a life and culture changing activity.”
