Known for having one of the warmest and most appealing climates in the world, Dubai attracts visitors from across the globe who are looking for the ideal place to soak up the sun. However, sometimes it’s nice to enjoy a reprieve from the heat and cool down. For those looking for the perfect place to cool down while on holiday to Dubai, here are four places you will enjoy:

LEGOLAND® Water Park

The only themed family water park in the region that is designed specifically for families with children aged 2 to 12, the LEGO® themed family park is the perfect place to cool off during a hot day in Dubai. The water park is home to over 15 water slides that include a family raft experience, and both body and tube slides, as well as a LEGO® Wave Pool.  The kids (and adventure-seeking adults) can build their own custom LEGO® raft at Build-A-Raft-River, and the toddlers can enjoy their very own dedicated DUPLO® toddler play area with appropriate water slides. There is plenty of fun to be had at this wet and wild, fast and furious water park that is suitable for the whole family.

Chillout Dubai

Chillout Dubai is the Middle East’s first sub-zero lounge, providing visitors with a unique and amazing ice and light experience regardless of the heat outside. Inside there are a number of ice sculptures, ice seating and tables, as well as a uniquely illuminated interior, all set in a sub-zero temperature. On arrival, visitors are given thermal clothing- including gloves, a hooded jacket, shoes, and socks – to keep themselves warm during their sub-zero experience. Once dressed, visitors are taken to the buffer zone which is set at five degrees Celsius where they can get acclimatized, before entering the main Chillout Lounge that is set to minus six degrees Celsius, making it a chilly retreat from Dubai’s warm climate.

Royal Pool and Zero Entry Pool at Atlantis, The Palm

Atlantis, The Palm is just one of Dubai’s many luxury beach resorts with two glistening pools (and private beaches) where guests can relax and soak up the sun, or cool down with a nice swim. The resort’s Royal Pool is located at the front of the Royal Towers, and provides guests with a calm spot to relax with the best views of Dubai’s cityscape and first class views of The Palm. The Zero Entry Pool provides guests with the opposite environment. Instead, families can unwind and enjoy an array of activities in the kid-friend designed pool. It also includes nearby dining options making an ideal place to spend a lazy day.

Dubai Creek

Although slightly different from the places mentioned above, Dubai Creek is the perfect place to relax and cool off during a hot summer’s day in the luxurious city. Providing visitors with a welcoming breeze and the chance to see Old Dubai – which is situated by the riverside – there is the opportunity to take an Abra (water taxi) from one side of the creek to the other. Upon reaching the other side of the creek there are numerous restaurants and cafes serving up delicious meals and cool drinks inviting diners to relax and take in their surroundings. There is also a chance to visit the Dubai Museum, learning something about the city as well as gaining more insight into its history and culture.

Put up your feet and enjoy one of the beautiful places and attractions Dubai has to offer for those travelers looking to cool off, and don’t forget to leave a smile 🙂 .
