Internet, it’s becoming a basic human necessity! There are internet and phone services in just about every corner of the world. With every service comes its special problems. In Jordan, one situation is making headlines! Umniah, a telecommunications service located in Jordan, has been taking the Arab world by storm.

Akram Mohammad, a Jordanian sick and tired of his less than acceptable internet service, has resorted to posting to the service’s Facebook page in an attempt for a solution to his problem. The internet was quick to react!

Several people were quick to berate Umniah for their disservice to Akram (remember Brad’s Wife?) and more or less drove Umniah crazy with questions and comments! But Umniah wasn’t the only company to be questioned!

Umniah has just about had it up to its towers!

Although Umniah claims that it has sorted out its problems with Akram, we have yet to hear from him. If you know what’s happened with Akram, hit us up!

I was born in Palestine but raised with the fireflies in Georgia. My teenage years were spent being the Muslim nerd who was known as the bookworm of the school. That followed me back to Palestine, to develop into being the girl with the big vocabulary. I spent most of my high-school days cursing Newton for not eating that apple. My English Literature Bachelor's degree was only obtained because I'm a nerd for literature and my minor in Translation pretty much pays the bills, thank you Birzeit University.Creative writing is my passion and reading is my escape from reality into a world where everything is the way you imagine it to be.
