Project Soar is an NGO started by Maryam Montague of the Peacock Pavilions boutique hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco. With the goal of uplifting underprivileged communities through design, art and movement, the organization takes a unique approach to social improvement and inspiration. Project Soar seems to understand that in order to make a tangible change in a community, whether on a large or small scale, one must begin at the micro level. That is, with children.

Through their various art, design, education and sports initiatives, Project Soar empowers neighborhoods in Morocco and gives children not only something to look forward to, but something to be inspired about. And that’s when things change; when people have something to hope for, to love and to be passionate about.
