The UAE’s most famous travelers Mohammed and Peyman Al Awadhi will represent the country at a climate summit organized by the Clinton family in New York this week. The duo, which co-hosts and produces the exciting Peeta Planet show, will moderate a panel called “Cities as Labs of Innovation”at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting that began last Sunday.

The conference gathers 1,000 world leaders from the private and public sector in a global effort to project innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Sitting at the panel with the Al Awadhi brothers will be Hollywood star Matt Damon, also co-founder of the non-profit Water.org, and former US president Bill Clinton.

With over 50 million viewers in the region, their social travel series Peeta Planet has become one of the leading ventures in the Middle East, introducing an interactive format that drives thousands of social-media followers in planning their destinations, and changing perceptions, one trip at a time.

For more information: Visit Peeta Planet’s Facebook page and follow the conference through the hashtag #CGI2014 on Twitter.
