The festival will feature 60 productions from over 40 different countries, which will be showcased at three different venues: Falaki Theatre, at AUC campus; the Artistic Creativity Centre, inside Cairo Opera House; and the Goethe Institute.

With all films subtitled in Arabic and English and screened for free, the event will also give participants the chance to exchange ideas and experiences with international guests of the festival, coming from Lebanon, Palestine, Cuba. Spain, The Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Algeria, Germany and Czech Republic.

The festival and will also offer its Audience Award, a recognition introduced last year that grants the most voted film by the audience with 10,000 EGP.
