Lean on the Advice and Guidance of Experienced Social Entrepreneurs

UAE , Cross-border #NeverStopLearning Business Science & Technology Social Entrepreneurship Youth in Business 10 Smiles by Lena Kassicieh 29/06/2015 Kamal Ibrahim Moumneh, CEO of Electus Global Education Co ., a youth financial and entrepreneurship education technology company, hopes to get aspiring youth involved in entrepreneurship in the region. A year ago, he connected with Medea Nocentini of Consult and Coach for a Cause (C3) through LinkedIn, and the two met to discuss how C3 can work as an incubator for his youth education technology startup. He soon after attended a C3 run workshop and applied to join their community of innovative thinkers.

Kamal believes that the C3 model stands out from other incubators and accelerators in the region because it “is a unique opportunity for social entrepreneurs to lean on experts who can help you move your project forward quickly and efficiently.” It fits smoothly within the time-aged notion of “feed a man, he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he will eat for life”, giving young entrepreneurs with a bright idea the guidance, necessary skills and advice to move forward with their own concepts in a sustainable manner. He believes that the consultation available through C3 gave him insight into his social impact goals and aspirations, enabling him to see things he would not have been able to at that stage of development.

His startup now focuses on offering personal finance advice, teaching skills in entrepreneurship, money and life management, interactive education platforms and behavior modeling and modification.
