They have the world’s tallest building, the world’s largest mall and the world’s first high speed police cars, but the UAE now sets to break another world record, as it prepares to showcase the largest collaborative graffiti painting in the world.

Named Rehlatna (“Our Journey”), the artwork will stretch 2,180 meters in the shape of the UAE map, the official state news agency WAM reported. A landmark to celebrate the UAE’s 43rd National Day, the graffiti will portray the seven Emirates with illustrations from nearly 70 international artists who will depict various milestones in the country’s history.

Around 7,000 aerosol paint cans will be used to create ‘Rehlatna’, which will then be used to foster artistic works after the event, according to What’s On Dubai.

The event will take place on November 29 near Jumeirah Beach Park in Dubai. “It is an open platform where people will be permitted to join the painting project under the guidance of qualified artists,” said Ismael Al Hashemi, head of the project’s organizing committee.
