In Pictures: Mashrou’ Leila Delights Fans at AFAC’s End of the Year Concert

Lebanese indie-rock band Mashrou’ Leila delighted their fans in Dubai last November 30, as they celebrated AFAC‘s end of the year event.

The long awaited concert was the conclusion of a two-day event that kicked off on Saturday November 29 with the unveiling of art pieces at Al Jalila Culture Center and Heritage Village. Among the attendees, AFAC board members, Baraka Advisors and all those interested in the artistic scene witnessed the artwork.

Continuing on Sunday, there was a private reception, which was attended by prominent figures such as Guest of Honor Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, foreign minister of UAE and art supporters as well as corporate sponsors.

The event concluded with Mashrou’ Leila, who presented an 1.15 hour full of songs from their latest album, Raasük. The Baraka Advisors team, together with a group of volunteers, received the 800 attendees as they made their way to the Music Hall in Zabeel Saray on the Palm.
