A new global trend is emerging in the business world: “caring capitalism” , or the practice of actively guiding professionals to enrich society as a whole. Summed up by the phrase “all ships rise with the tide”, the philosophy is changing competition to cooperation , and in Amman, Zee Launch Pad is riding the crest of this wave. The co-working space was inaugurated early last year– just in time for entrepreneurs and freelancers eager for a “support community” to launch their ideas.
Their biggest advocate, Nidal Eses , decided to open the space to give them the ideal environment in which to thrive , offering an affordable subscription-based workplace as an alternative to the rising costs of renting and equipping offices. Equipped with the highest-speed internet connection in the country, this colorful, smoke-free and eco-friendly haven also boasts meeting rooms, study halls, fun activities, and free coffee, tea and snacks. It also offers a range of events to support the start-up scene and free mentoring sessions for its members, emphasizing the importance of knowledge-sharing in the development of communities.
“Its whole purpose is creating a community that reinforces its members,” explains Eses.
