Hajiba Fahmy is one in a million. Born in Valence, France and from Moroccan descent, she began dancing at the age of 6 and never imagined where she would be at 26: the protagonist of Nike’s latest video and a dance crew member for Beyoncé.

In an interview with Pure Charts, the artists explained the opportunity arose during a photo shoot for Issey Miyake, where she met agent Bruno Perret, who got her an audition for an H&M campaign in January 2013 featuring an American artist. Little did she know the artist was in fact her childhood idol Beyoncé Knowles. “I said to myself this is not possible,” she said. “I sang Destiny’s Child songs with my cousins and my sisters”.

Created as part of Nike’s advertising campaign, the following video features the dancer moving against the backdrop of Morocco’s suggestive Atlas mountains.
