Designer Nacim Ben Moussa is inspired by eclectic forces — where East meets West and where style meets tradition. Living between Asia and Europe, Nacim drew inspiration from his Tunisian and French roots, founding a new style of footwear called LookMyBabouch. The idea is simple yet distinctive, taking the traditional Tunisian inspires leather slippers(Babouch) and meshing them with more urban-style sneakers. LookMyBabouch has found a way to create comfortable yet stylish “sneaker-babouch” for everyday wear.

The insole is crafted from soft mouton leather and printed with the logo of the model. The cow leather shoe tab (or decorative tongue) is embossed with the LookMyBabouch logo making it easy to slip it on and off. The outsole is made of EVA mixed with rubber to ensure good grip on most surfaces.

Now you can not only wear these uber cool “Snouch”, but you can also help create them. Look my Babouch has launched a crowdfunding campaign that will help them raise funds that would go to further manufacturing the product, and those who donate get cool rewards.

For more information: Visit the campaign’s website and follow them on Instagram to keep updated on their exciting new collection.
