PALinnO is an exciting new initiative aimed at empowering Palestinian entrepreneurs and start-ups, and paving the way to get these tech start-ups to Silicon Valley. Forbes magazine recently named the incubator as one of the top 15 Middle East start-up accelerators to watch. Based in Nablus, PALinnO provides a mentoring program that helps fresh entrepreneurs develop their ideas and build stronger business plans.

The organization also offers office space, seed investment and follow-up funding to encourage innovative Palestinians to succeed on an international scale. This August, PALinnO held a competition to send the top start-ups to Silicon Valley and connect them with venture capital investors. The winners were SMS services company linking people with jobs and connecting aid agencies with local communities Souktel , Fresco, a gesture-recognition technology for smartphones and tablets, and freelance resource site AnaLancer.
