Show us what it’s like in your city by shooting footage for our new short film, ” he tweeted last Tuesday. The Hollywood actor is calling Arab filmmakers and others around the world to capture the walking experience of their own cities, with the best ones eventually making their way to the film. “Cities are such cinematic places.

Just walking around, you see so many settings, situations and characters that look like a movie,” he says. The project has so far received 1,000 contributions from all over the world and will be taking submissions until October 30. Gordon-Levitt is also calling on writers to muse about their home cities.
