Sometimes, even having a great idea isn’t enough, because you need the skills and team to implement it. But if you live in Dubai, or anywhere close, and you have an idea that you think is a million-dollar idea then Startup Weekend Dubai will give you the chance to turn your idea into reality.
A 54-hour event that results in new companies sounds a bit too extreme, but this is what startup weekend is all about. Taking place in Dubai will be no different as designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and experts from all spheres will work together to do great things. As we mentioned in the title, the event starts with pitches from any participant with an idea and feedback will be given accordingly.
After voting for the top ideas, teams will form around them and will start working for the next couple of days to push the idea as close to launch as possible. The event is taking place on December 11 and will conclude December 13 , with the teams presenting their developed ideas in front of local pioneer entrepreneurs including Rima Al Sheikh (Co-Founder and CTO at Nabbesh ), Iraklis Alexopoulos (Head of technology at Souqalmal ), Ahmed Zedan (VP of marketing at MarkaVIP ), and many more.
