Egypt Discovery Heritage Lifestyle 4 Smiles by Valentina Primo 1 day ago Alexandria’s beautiful beaches, the city’s residents diving into the sea, its mothers sunbathing under parasols, the city’s public swimming pools, and its clean, green boulevards: the ‘bride of the Mediterranean’, as we have never seen it. For this #ThrowbackThursday, we chose “Magic carpet land”, a video recently released by the British archival footage company Pathé , showcasing the beauty and history of legendary Alexandria, filmed in 1963.
