Since its launch in 2009, the Young Collectors Auction has been a platform affording new talents and emerging artists recognition and international exposure along with renowned names from the region. On January 21 it will return to the Ayyam Gallery in its Dubai Al-Quoz venue.

In this lively setting, more than 75 lots will be showcased, belonging to a range of creative talents including late Egyptian artist Amal Kenawy, Palestinian artists Samia Halaby and Abdulrahman Katanani, Lebanese artists Nadim Karam, Karen Kalou and Mohammad Badr, Thaier Helal and Safwan Dahoul from Syria. Also present will be works by the highest selling Gulf artist, Abdulnasser Gharem from Saudi Arabia, and Afshin Pirhashemi from Iran.

Their paintings, photographs, limited edition prints, video, sculptures and installations will be featured at a public viewing prior to the auction, taking place between January 14 to 20.  This  event gives collectors the flexibility to bid in person or to register for telephone and absentee bids online, offering bidders from abroad a winning chance. The auction catalogue will soon be online and can also be collected in person from any Ayyam Gallery.
