Go Local, Support Local Jordan is an initiative to support Jordanian entrepreneurs and local businesses, farmers and food producers, musicians and artists, and community based organizations. The goal of the Support Local movement is to bring people’s attention to how buying stuff made in Jordan or going to a neighborhood café or restaurant helps the Jordanian economy.
Supporting local re-injects money back into the Jordanian economy, helping industries thrive in the market, say the movement’s leaders. To make themselves accessible to as many Jordanian residents as possible, the Support Local’s website is in both Arabic and English.
