The Cycling4Palestine initiative carried out its fifth consecutive year this March. Organized by the Welfare Association for Youth (WAY), in collaboration with the Welfare Association and the Jerusalem Forum, the goal of the initiative was to raise funds to support the Al Bayyara project, which aims to rebuild public playgrounds in Gaza’s Deir El Balah.

WAY hopes to raise awareness of the suffering of Palestinians with such initiatives, and hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of youth through youth development projects. Led by a passionate group of young minds who wholeheartedly believe in the capability and power their generation holds in building an independent, sustainable Palestinian community, both within Palestine and beyond.

For more information: Check out WAY’s official website and keep up to date on the impactful projects they work on through their Facebook page.
