Kumbaz was founded back in 1985 by the Asfour sisters and is currently run by designer Fatina Asfour in Amman, Jordan. The fashion house is a modern attire design house that achieves excellence through their success in combining the authenticity of traditional Arab wear with modern elegance. Their brand maintained a high quality look with beautifully designed clothes that have captured the attention of royalty in the region.

The fashion house has earned royal patrons like Queen Rania and Queen Noor of Jordan, Princess Haya Bint-Al-Hussein of Jordan and Princess Sibilla de Luxembourg. Their work is inspired by old costumes and vintage clothes that they experiment with and modernize. Their unique vision allows them to seamlessly combine classic Arab design with a contemporary fashion feel. Kumbaz designers use luxurious fabrics ornamented with crystals and antique accessories, taking them more than 2,000 hours to create a single piece from their line.

All pieces from their collection work to preserve traditional heritage by using silks and woven materials, antique gold threads on intricately hand-brocaded items, and the most exclusive fabrics to complement the silhouette of the modern woman. The accessories that complete their outfits are handmade as well, and personalized to suit the clients taste.

For more information: Check out the Kumbaz official website.
