For this week´s Throw Back Thursday series , we take a trip back in time through Libya´s history led by this Australian videographer who decides to unveil a misrepresented country.
“The Romans found a land as unknown to them as contemporary Libya is to us,” he ponders. The video is a sneak peak of Adams’ documentary as he follows the trails of Ancient Rome’s “chariots of fire”, the first wheeled vehicles to explore the unforgiving Sahara desert. As he makes his way across Western Libya, he learns the Berber’s legendary fishing techniques in the Mediterranean, admires Tripoli’s love for horse-racing, and discovers Lectus Magna, the best preserved roman city in the world.
